AI & Machine Learning Courses for Kids, Ages 5–10
Little Thinkers AI Lab offers three free, sequential courses that teach children the core ideas of artificial intelligence and machine learning — written in plain language for a parent to teach, with no coding or prior knowledge required.
Choose your child's course
- Little Explorers (Ages 5–6) — a play-based introduction: sorting, patterns, and the big idea that machines learn from examples. Mostly screen-free.
- Junior Builders (Ages 7–8) — hands-on machine learning: training and testing models, decision trees, data and fairness, kept in a lab notebook.
- Young Creators (Ages 9–10) — the real machinery: neural networks, gradient descent, language models, AI ethics, and a capstone Demo Day.
Every course has 20 phases of 6 lessons plus a hands-on project — 360 lessons in total across the three. You can also play free AI games, browse the full curriculum, take a graduation quiz to earn a certificate, or read the parent guide.
